So, as we venture into another year of COVID, we all wonder what this new year is going to bring. Is it 2022? Or, is it 2020 too? I am holding faith for the former.
Our lives have pretty much been the same since the beginning of the pandemic, with the exception of travel. I miss traveling. I miss going to the photography conventions, and workshops, and the beach. So this year, we're going to try to get back to some sense of normalcy. With the traveling and everything else that seems to have gone awry over the past couple of years, it's going to feel good to mingle with the masses again.
I did, however, wake up in this new year with the mindset that this is the year to get things re-organized, re-strategized, re-vamped, and ready to move forward with life as we have known it for decades. With a lot of projects on the plate, it feels good to have the plans being put in place to take my studio to another level. It feels good to know that there are people out there that are behind me 100%, especially my husband, and know that I have it in me to do what I love and be successful at it. I love the encouragement of knowing that when I'm having a down day, like we all do quite frequently lately, my family and friends are always there to let me know that it's ok.
I've got resolutions in my brain, but we're not going to call them that for now. For now, we're going to call them bullet points to expand on as the year moves forward. I'm going to take each one and make it work. I am going to make more time for the studio, because that is my happy place and I love what I am able to create when I get to spend precious and valuable time there.
So I'm wishing you and yours the best 2022 you could ever hope or ask for. May it bring blessings beyond measure, and may it be kind in every way.
